Mr. Tommy Thompson has been hired as the Elementary Principal for the 2013-14 school year.
Congratulations to the Texico Baseball team for completing the 2013 season as the State Runner Up in Class AA. To get there, the team won some key district games to close out the regular season and upset Dexter, Eunice, and Loving in the playoffs. Way to go, Texico players and coaches! !

Texico Girls Golf finished 5th at the State Golf Tournament. Highlights were Laura McFarden's 8th place finish (86/85) to earn All-State recognition and Jessica Jorde's first round 88 to help Texico to a first day 385 team total. Congratulations to all these student athletes and Coach Scanlan!

REC-6 will be having a New Bus Driver/Suburban Training July 8-12, if anyone is interested please contact REC at 575-562-4455 before June 28th. Details are in the flier.

9 FCCLA members are in need of raising money approximately $12,000 to help pay for expenses to National Contest in Nashville, TN July 2013. Willing to offer our services for chores or jobs you may have for your Spring/Summer Cleaning, between April 1 and June 30. We do the work, you provide the cleaning supplies, tools to do the task, and detailed specifications on how the outcome should be. Some services may include, but not limited to: washing windows, cleaning cars, lawn care, garden care, child care, house cleaning, cleaning classroom, garage cleaning, running errands, grocery shopping, ironing, painting, etc. You may request the number of students (1-9) you would like to work on your job at one time. Please let Mrs. Thomas know at 575-693-6420 if you would like something done. I will then coordinated students to come help you on date requested if possible. I do ask that you call me after the services have been finished and let me know how much your donation was. This way I can keep track of what each student has earned for the trip.
